    Recommended IR Books

    1. World Politics: Trend and Transformation (11th Edition)
By Charles Kegley, Gregory A. Raymond

    2. Essentials of International Relations (6th Edition)
By Karen A Mingst, Ivan M. Arreguin

    3. International Relations
    By Joshua S. Goldstein

    4. Introduction to International Relations
By Robert Jackson and George Sorensen

Note: Consult Quality materials. For IR multiple sources are advisable. Also take care that the book you study should be essentially of post 9/11 era; therefore avoid reading Prakash Chandra's book.

For public ad book, you should click on the following link....

    http://www.cssworld.com.pk/showthrea...o-New-Syllabus

plus guide me how to start thread as i am new to this forum.
Starting a thread is simple. What you have to do is to just 'log in' first. Then you should go the respected portal where you want to add a thread. Suppose you desire to start a threat related to English Essay. Then you should first enter into 'ESSAY' forum. There you will observe an icon 'start a new thread'. Just click on it and proceed on..

Mr Falak, You should start a new thread in 'CSS Competitive Examination' forum instead of posting here in this thread.
If it doesn't challenge you, it won't change you.

Ikram Rabbani' book of IR is also pretty good for beginners. Those who at initial level seek easy handout should consult Ikram Rabbani's book.

I am using these books. Is this sufficient? 1) the globalization of world politics ( John Baylis), 2) comparative politics and international relations( Prakash chander), 3) Goldsteins's book on IR and am also planning to get world politics: trends and transformations.
