I will recommend to study IR from quality books rather than notes.
You can download recommended books from http://www.cssworld.com.pk/forumdisp...onal-Relations.
    Books will be uploaded regularly.
As to tackle this subject being new comer, I will request senior members of this forum to guide Haania

I was a newbie myself when i opted IR for the first time. I chalked out a study plan which I will share hare and I believe it will be helpful.

Step 1: Develop your understanding with International affairs if you don't have any prior 'acquaintance' with day to day developments on international political stage.
Step 2: Understand Key theories of IR ie Realism, Liberalism etc because sound understanding of IR theories means sound foundation.
Step 3: Understand Key concepts of IR ie War, Power, Globalization
Step 4: Study history and functioning of key institutions ie UN, IMF
    Step 5: Cover Paper 2

Bottom line: Cover Paper 1 carefully, rest will be as easy as it gets.
