    Thesis: Good governance in Pakistan is in state of doldrums because institutions are not working and this state of affairs has deteriorated to the level of crisis. Therefore, reforms in institutions are pivotal in order to avert the crisis of good governance in Pakistan.

    - Introduction:
    Thesis: Good Governance in Pakistan is in state of doldrums because institutions are not working and this state of affairs has deteriorated to the level of crisis. Therefore, reforms in institutions are pivotal in order to avert the crisis of good governance in Pakistan.

    - Good governance constitutes proper functioning of all governmental arms
    - Crisis of good governance occurs when either governmental arms canít function individually or they canít coordinate in order to deliver properly.
    - Instances of crisis of good governance

    Declining health facilities in Pakistan
    Poor state of economy and surging unemployment
    Education in state of shambles
    Deteriorating situation of law and order
    Abandonment of political process by populace of Pakistan

    - Instances of Reforms needed

    Increase in basic wages
    Accountability of government officials
    Transparency of governmental actions
    Equal distribution of opportunities
    Strict adherence to law and order
    Reforms in governmental services ie Bureaucracy
